Victoria Eden trained as a potter at Lancaster School of Art and started her career making domestic slipware. She and Michael Eden formed Edenceramics in 1981 and worked together until 2006 with a client list that included Habitat, Libertys and Barneys New York as well as many British galleries and craft shops . Her career has included working in education, writing on ceramics and curating. A book ‘Slipware; Contemporary Approaches’ which looked at the use of slipware techniques throughout the world was co written with Michael Eden and published by A &C Black in 2000.
From 2006 Victoria worked as an art teacher and returned to ceramics in 2014 with a focus on installations and conceptual ceramics.
